SOUTH African paceman Charl Willoughby returns for Basingstoke and North Hants tomorrow at home to Radlett.
Last Saturday, the club's opening IC3 Home Counties League game at High Wycombe was washed out along with the rest of the premier division programme.
Skipper Lee Nurse said: "Charl will give the team a real boost and, after last weekend, everyone starts afresh, equal on points."
Wicketkeepers Ross Hunter and Nigel Williamson are both unavailable, so the captain takes over behind the stumps.
He said: "I am not worried about keeping wicket against Charl as the ball always carries through at a decent height from him."
The last time these sides met was on the final day of last season in Hertfordshire, where Radlett won by four wickets.
The earlier match at May's Bounty was drawn with this season's skipper, Nick Fielden, scoring a century.
Tomorrow's visitors also have a young South African bowler in Shane Burger, who will be keen to impress.
Nurse said: "We will look to put them in and chase."
Last Sunday, Basingstoke, like Radlett, were knocked out of the Cockspur Cup at the second-round stage.
The Bounty men lost to the visiting Havant team by two wickets.
The home side made a good start, reaching 71-1. But consecutive ducks - from middle-order batsman Dean Nurse, Scott Dyer and debutant James Morris - hastened Basingstoke to 146 all out in 37.1 overs.
Mitchell Stokes top-scored with 46 and Lee Nurse was the next best with 36 runs.
In reply, Havant scored a four off the last ball to finish on 150-8, Stokes and Jon Govett each taking three wickets.
Nurse said: "We are a good enough side to score 200 runs and some of the batsmen will have to do better and take a look at themselves. We can't afford to be bowled out seven overs short of our allotted overs.
"It did not matter that we bowled and fielded well, it was just not a big enough total to defend."
In the local derby encounter at Castle Field, Basingstoke IV were eight-wicket winners over Bounty.
Steve Bucksey (5-25) reduced Bounty to 57-5 but cameo knocks by Lawrence Benge (19), Aidan Peake (25no) and skipper Adi Nixon (19) enabled Bounty to reach 146. This proved insufficient as Andrew Darmody (62no) and Ian Booth (30) put on 76 for the Basingstoke second wicket.
Basingstoke won with more than five overs to spare.
