FASHION show: The improvement work currently under way at St Mark's Primary School will include facilities for a much-needed new pre-school - Dandelions.
A fashion show is being held to raise funds, and this will take place on Saturday, May 22, at the community centre, from 7pm.
The show will be presented by Travelling Trends, who produce fashion separates. All items can be tried on and bought at the show, there is no ordering and waiting for delivery.
Tickets cost £4 and include a glass of wine. They need to be bought in advance.

FUNDAY: Tomorrow, from 10am until noon, at the community centre, in aid of ASSERT - a research and support organisation for families affected by Angelman Syndrome.
The event is organised by local mother Lynne Assinder, whose daughter Lauren has the condition. Angelman is a genetic disorder which can cause, among other things, severe learning difficulties.
PHONE mast news: Local councillors will be meeting shortly with representatives from several of the major operators to discuss their requirements for new masts in the Hatch Warren area. More details when I have them.
DISCO: The next members-only event at the community centre is the family disco on June 4, hosted by Mark Halliday, and will run from 6.30pm until 10.30pm.
