JUMBLE sale: A jumble sale is being held by the Senior Citizens Club at Brighton Hill Community Association, Gershwin Court, Gershwin Road, Brighton Hill, from 2pm to 4pm, on Saturday, May 22.
There will be book and bric-a-brac stalls and a tombola.
AGE Concern: Announces a Summer Time Music Hall on Saturday, June 26, at the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke.
There is a matinee at 3pm, and the evening session starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10, £8 for concessions, and are available from the box office.
The programme, presented by Helen Watson and company, recalls music and mirth of a bygone age.
BRIGHT Start Pre-school: Children were learning about and discussing holidays on May 6.
They were thinking about places to stay, including caravans, tents and bed and breakfast accommodation, drawing and painting tents and creating collages.
A trip to Beale Park, Pangbourne, is being arranged for June 18.
Coaches have been booked, and enquiries are welcomed from people wishing to put down names.

Children can attend the pre-school five days a week from 9.15am to 1.45pm and 12.30pm to 3pm.
The ages of the children are two years nine months to school age.
