THE outdoor party event of the year is just around the corner.
The We Love Homelands outdoor music festival takes place at the Matterley Bowl, Winchester on Saturday, May 29.
A host of top-drawer acts, including New York chart sensations Scissor Sisters, are lined up to entertainer revellers at the 17-hour event, which starts at 1pm and runs through until 6am the next day.
Up to 35,000 people are expected to flock to the natural outdoor amphitheatre, where a combination of live bands and DJs will be entertaining across seven different arenas.
The Live Arena features performances by Faithless, Scissor Sisters, London Elektricity and The Music (making their only festival appearance this summer), while on the Radio 1 Outdoor Stage you can see the likes of Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Paul Van Dyk.
The five other giant-sized arenas, all equipped with state-of-the-art light rigs and sound systems, will cover the spectrum of modern music, from house and hip-hop to drum and bass.
Acts to look out for include Roger Sanchez, Seb Fontaine, Groove Armada, Pete Tong, Roni Size and Dizzee Rascal.
Tickets cost £54 plus booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster on 0870 1500 044.
