THE Tidworth branch of the NSPCC held its annual Children's Day and the theme was Native America.
As children queued up to have their faces painted, the underlying message was a serious one. The NSPCC's objective is to end cruelty to children 'full stop'. Other activities at the Ashdown Family Centre included a drumming workshop and head-dress making.
The Army provided a marquee.
Manager of the NSPCC-led project in Tidworth, Gill Cockerton, said: "NSPCC Children's Day gives us an ideal opportunity to talk to parents and children and find out what services they'd like to see."
