Training is no longer just for the young. It is now recognised as being important in furthering careers and adding new skills to CVs.
Many companies run in-house training programmes while some people may find it necessary to return to further or higher education as a mature student or by distance learning.
Training providers will be on site at the roadshow promoting a range of courses as well as specific career training programmes and ideas for a lifestyle change.
Don't forget - there will also be a dedicated Learning Village sponsored by the Learning & Skills Council for Hampshire & Isle of Wight with even more training opportunities available.
Carillion Construction Training will be on stand 25 at the roadshow and is recognised as the UK's leading construction training organisation.
Every year, they provide training for more than 2,000 apprentices and adults at their construction training colleges where they offer training and assessment up to NVQ Level 3 in the main building skills.
Another training provider present is Southampton City College which is the largest further education centre in the city, offering hundreds of full and part-time courses for skills or access to university.
Corinna Knox, marketing assistant, said: "People wanting to improve their skills, change jobs or even turn their hobby into a career can do so through the hundreds of courses on offer at Southampton City College. We want to help people get results for life."
The college will be doing lots of exciting things from its stand including a "design an outfit" competition aimed at people interested in fashion and art with the chance of winning The Fashion Book.
They will also be promoting their brand new part-time prospectus, which is hot off the press. Visit stand 24 for more information.
