WATCHING Winchester City FC in the run-up to their biggest-ever match is a real family affair for one household.
The entire Caws family, turn out to watch their team at every possible match - whether it's home or away.
Derek and Wendy, and their children Andrew, seven, Laura, eight, and Victoria, ten, only started watching the team at the start of this season but they are already hooked.
Like many others, the family from Malibres Road, Chandler's Ford, have been astounded by the team's fantastic success - they have already won the Wessex League at the first attempt and are preparing to play in the FA Vase final this Sunday at Birmingham's St Andrew's Stadium.
Only four years ago the club was languishing in the Hampshire League attracting gates of around 25 people.
Wendy, a housewife, said: "My husband started following them the season before this one and knew that he had to take Andrew to a match because they were doing so well. The rest of us didn't want to miss out so we all went along. Now whenever we go to watch them play, the children can't wait to get ready. They don't have to be told twice! We will definitely all be going up to Birmingham.
"The fact they are doing so well is brilliant, they have worked very hard and got some good results.
"The girls can't wait to wear their new Winchester City shirts which are just like the one their brother has got.
"I wouldn't like to speculate on the score for the final but it will be a very tough game.
"Fingers crossed they are lucky on the day."
