TETRA mast: STAG (Sherfield Tetra Action Group) met with Dr Caroline Lucas, Green Party MEP for the south east, at the mast site last week.
Gill Fearon said: "Dr Lucas believes that TETRA should be abandoned until it is proved safe.
"Dr Lucas is trying to get MEPs to sign up to a Written Declaration and, if it is passed, then pressure would be brought on all European countries to scrap TETRA."
About 100 angry residents held a peaceful demonstration at Scats on the May Bank Holiday.
Gill Fearon said: "We would like to thank everyone for their fantastic support on a very wet morning."
There were representatives from the parish council, borough council, and also Conservative parliamentary candidate Maria Miller.
STAG's next move is to write to all MEPs, asking them to sign up to the declaration to get TETRA banned.
PARISH council: It was agreed that Sherfield School would become a standing item for report at each meeting.
Drawings for the new football pavilion had been submitted to the borough council and these can be viewed in the window of Dodds Garage.
The next meeting of the parish council is on Tuesday, at 7.30pm.
The annual parish meeting is on Friday, May 21.
PERCY'S plant sale: Don't forget, Percy's plant sale at Broadlands, home of Elizabeth and Donald Dawson, is on Saturday, May 15, at 10am.
