ELSIE Jennings' captivating illustration of six plane tree leaves has scooped an art award.
The 90-year-old from Stubbington Lane, Stubbington, won the Molly Dicker Trophy awarded by Fareham Art Club.
Her oil painting showing the leaves in early autumn was inspired by the large plane tree in the grounds of the Ashcroft Centre in Fareham.
The award, in memory of the club's former president, is competed for annually by club members and it is the second time Mrs Jennings has scooped the trophy.
Fareham Art Club meets on the last Thursday of the month at the Holy Trinity Church Hall. For information contact 01329 667748.
