IF anyone can prove that tickets are selling like hot cakes for Winchester City's biggest ever game, it's Neville Gosling.
He has sold more than 100 tickets so far on behalf of the team's supporters' club but the champion ticket seller is remaining modest about his talents.
Neville, of Colson Road, Winnall, is stunned at the level of interest in City reaching one of the most renowned non-league fixtures - the FA Vase final.
"I didn't have to sell them, they sold themselves because they are that popular," said Neville, 66.
"It just snowballed and I have been very lucky that I have been in the right places at the right time. I have been taking them everywhere I go so that if people asked for one I've had them with me."
The majority of Neville's tickets have been snapped up by family, colleagues at Stagecoach in Winchester where he works in the garage, friends at The First In Last Out pub in Wales Street and the Winnall Club.
He has also sold a big stack of tickets to members of the Winchester Junior Football League, which his 11-year-old grandson plays in.
"It has awoken a lot of interest in the city, it's nice to see. Whether they will actually stay with the team next season will be interesting. Hopefully once everything settles down, they will."
Winchester City will play AFC Sudbury at Birmingham's St Andrew's Stadium in the nail-biting final on Sunday.
Tickets are on sale at the ground off Worthy Lane in Abbotts Barton every evening this week from 5.30-8pm.
They also available from a number of outlets across the city or by phoning club director David Malone on 07798 792628.
