TEAM Solent's band of seven athletes brought back a full house of personal bests from the British Milers' Club meeting at Somerset's Millfield School.

Alex Wall-Clarke (1.58.22), Jon Slade (2.06.83) and Scott Legg (2.11.82) all lowered their fastest times for 800m.

Chris Dennis (4.43.84), Emma Renouf (5.20.23) and Georgina Barton (5.22.39) set new 1,500m marks.

John Beattie completed Solent's magnificent seven with a 3000m best of 8.53.52.

Next up for the squad are the Hampshire AA Track & Field Championships at Portsmouth's Mountbatten Centre (May 15/16).

l Eastleigh & District Junior AC athlete Sean Houlihan picked up a bronze medal in his first Hampshire Multi- Events Championships at Portsmouth's Mountbatten Centre.

In wet and windy conditions, the youngster performed well to come second in the 80 metres hurdles (13.9) and third in the shot put (7.15), long jump (3.96) and high jump (1.39).

He finished off with a 2.56.2 800m run to claim the bronze with a points total of 1,399.

Other Eastleigh competitors: Calum Bressington (7th under-13 boy,705 points), Rebecca King (9th under-13 girl, 1,007 points) and Emily Smart (10th under-13 girl, 646 points).
