HARRY Redknapp is poised to field a stronger team at relegated Leicester tomorrow than the one which drew with champions Arsenal in midweek.
The clash at the Walkers Stadium - which could have been been key to both sides' Premiership fate - now has little competitive value.
But after a run of eight games without defeat Redknapp is determined to maintain Pompey's fine form.
Midfielders Eyal Berkovic and Alexei Smertin will be back in the squad after being rested for the Gunners clash.
And on-loan striker Lomana LuaLua features after rejecting a chance to return to Newcastle.
Dutch keeper Harald Wapenaar may also be given a rare start to help first-choice Shaka Hislop ease a long-term groin-strain, but Redknapp said: "Apart from one or two I haven't got many to change. It is not exactly a massive squad.
"But we want to keep going right to the end. I certainly expected the relegation issue to go all the way to the last match and I've been pleasantly surprised to find ourselves 10 points clear with two games still to go.
"We know we have to strengthen the squad for next season and I'm already working on that.
"But it is difficult to do anything definite until we sit down with people who are at the end of their contracts and discuss the future with them and the chairman.
"We have to see what we can do with players like Smertin, who is only a loan from Chelsea, LuaLua, Steve Stone, Petri Pasanen and Teddy (Sheringham). It will be all down to finance.
"But we have finished the season on a high, eight games unbeaten, and we want to keep it going."
Pompey, who conclude the campaign at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday week, are without centre back Linvoy Primus for the rest of the programme through a hamstring injury.
But Pasanen, on loan from Dutch club Ajax, should be fit for the finale after an ankle injury which has kept him out for the last four games.
"He's struggling for the Leicester game but, hopefully, he'll be OK for Boro," said Redknapp, who will keep £300,000 former Swansea defender Richard Duffy, 18, in the squad.
