TEST Valley School at Stockbridge is about to see an exciting new era dawn when its £2.1 million buildings open their doors to pupils and staff.
A modern sports hall and language block will be welcome additions to the school courtesy of a Hampshire County Council grant.
A new sports hall is a promising prospect for the Test Valley pupils, who will be able to use the trampolines to their full potential due to its high ceiling.
Brazier Construction company, which is undertaking the building work, is also creating a £700,000 language block. Nobody will be using the gym more than head of PE Joe Hillman, who is keen to see the facilities.
"I'm delighted about the prospect of this building and the pupils will gain due to the facilities," he said.
The PE teachers aim to continue their gym club in the new building, which will boast changing rooms and a reception area.
The large-scale building project is on target for completion in September.
