WITH flags flying and to the sounds of a marching band, hundreds of boys and girls marched through the streets of Winchester.
Guides, Scouts, Cubs and Brownies paraded under their banners through the city centre.
Starting from the Colebrook Street car park, they trooped down The Broadway and the High Street before attending a St George's Day service in the cathedral.
The salute was taken by the deputy mayor Cecily Sutton standing on the steps of the Guildhall.
Hundreds of people lined the route on Sun-day including many parents.
