CONSULTATIONS: We can soon expect to be asked about our views on leisure provision in Chineham (instead of a sports barn) and methods/scope of waste collection.
Chineham residents have also been invited to visit a special trailer, which is to be parked at Chineham shopping centre from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, to comment on broadband provision. Staff from Basingstoke council and Wired Wessex will be available to answer questions and listen to people's comments on broadband-related topics.
LIBRARY: Don't forget that Peter Searles will be performing one of his internationally renowned one-man shows at Chineham Library on Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
Tickets and other information available from the library on 465643.
CONGRATULATIONS: To Emma Biermann, on her election as chairperson of Hampshire Youth Council.
FUN for the little ones: Chineham Library is introducing "Baby Rhymetime" early next month. It is aimed at the under-twos and involves lots of toe-tapping, hand-clapping fun.
It will take place on the first Tuesday of every month, from 11am until 11.30am. There is no need to book just turn up on the day (carers must stay). For more information, you can contact the library on 465643.
