ANDOVER boss Brian Le Boutillier saluted his young guns as they finished the season by winning 2-1 at runners-up Wimborne Town.
Two goals in the opening ten minutes powered Andover to victory.
Chris Knight, one of the youngsters handed a Wessex League chance due to injury to more senior players, provided the cross from which Danny Sullivan nodded the visitors ahead.
And it was 2-0 shortly after when Glenn Damon threaded a 30-yard through ball into the path of Justin Bennett, who beat his marker for pace before scoring.
Gareth Barnes grabbed Wimborne's second half consolation, and LeBoutillier said: "It was a great performance - my young lads came of age. I had ten senior players either injured or suspended on Saturday but it gave me the chance to play some youngsters.
"Chris Knight did well and Paul Lucas, who I signed from Laverstock & Ford in the Hampshire League, has been the find of the season.
"It's a big jump up from Hampshire One but he's just getting better and better - he probably doesn't want the season to end."
Bournemouth Poppies slipped into the bottom three, throwing away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at Alton.
Playing with the wind in the first half, goals from Duncan Wells and Lewis Till had put Poppies in pole position.
A late goal from centre half Matt Parnell prevented youthful Hamble from signing off on a winning note at AFC Totton.
Parnell's equaliser cancelled out a first-half strike from Craig Rickman, which came after the home keeper had fluffed his clearance.
Hamble included 15-year-old central midfielder Carl Spencer and 17-year-old debutant Neil Smale, who was deployed at centre half. And Luke Musselwhite, 18, came off the bench.
It was a good day for boss Jon Gittens as Fareham wrapped up their season with a 4-0 win over Bournemouth.
Gittens picked up the Daily Echo March club of the month award after his team clocked up five wins and a draw and he was even able to give a midfield runout to two youngsters, Wayne Boud and Danny Bryant, who have impressed in the reserves.
"They both did well and so did Rob Cox in midfield," said Gittens.
Gittens was also pleased with his front pairing of Jamie Musselwhite and Abdoulie Ndoye, who shared the goals between them.
Ndoye set up Musselwhite for the first and then profited when Musselwhite's shot rebounded for him to score.
A Ndoye tap-in made it 3-0 at the interval and, although Fareham took their foot off the gas after the break, Ndoye still grabbed a fourth from the penalty spot.
A second-half goal from striker Adam Collier gave AFC Newbury victory over second-from-bottom Blackfield & Langley.
