TIDWORTH'S Community area partnership has taken the unusual step of commenting on a planning application to change the use of a public house in Everleigh.
The partnership, which brings together military and civilian groups in the Tidworth area and is chaired by the garrison commander, has decided to send a letter of objection to Kennet District Council.
Members backed the concerns expressed by the area's county councillor Mark Connolly, who said that Everleigh was a very small village with few facilities and that the public house was a venue for the community.
