Mervyn Perry (10) is playing much more golf now that he has retired and this was confirmed by virtue of his excellent round in the April medal competition.
His net 65 was the best score returned in the Saturday medal and it won first place and a handicap reduction to 9.
Glenn Ward (11) could have returned a much better score than his net 67 but it was at least good enough for second spot. Shaun Justice (0) won the scratch prize with a gross 68.
