It was that time of year again where the country wakes on a Sunday morning to see thousands of runners braving the streets of London to compete in the London Marathon.
Despite the appalling weather conditions three athletes from Andover Athletic Club took on this challenge at the weekend.
Mike Dunham was taking part in his first marathon and he was advised to split the race into three sections to help the mental battle around the course and this paid off for him.
Mike enjoyed the whole experience and took the race in his stride, not even suffering the 'wall' effect which is a well known breaking point for many athletes.
