THE poor weather conditions didn't stop Chris Ball (53-12 Multisports) and Wiltshire partner Ian Ayliffe (Salisbury RC) from winning a 25-mile time trial organised by Primera Bournemouth for the second year running.
They finished in 52m.56s to beat the Andover Wheelers duo of Phil Bowley and Jake Prior by 46 seconds.
Bowley was particularly pleased with this performance, over a minute quicker when he and Prior finished second in a similar race near Petersfield before Easter which compensated for a below-par performance in the Bournemouth Arrow Fircroft Hotel 10 on Good Friday.
