PLANS to revitalise the shopping area of Lee-on-the-Solent have been revealed.
Proposed improvements include adding a number of pedestrian crossings to the High Street.
Other changes would be made to pavements to improve road safety and movement for pedestrians at the Milvil Road and Marine Parade West junction, the Manor Way, High Street and Pier Street junction, the Pier Street and Marine Parade junction and at Beach Road.
Waiting restrictions to improve visibility are planned on Marine Parade, next to the Flower Buildings, and in the lay-by west of Pier Street.
For Pier Street and Beach Road, a single-lane exit for vehicles entering Marine Parade is also proposed.
