50 FIRST DATES(12A): Romantic comedy starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler about a man who falls for a woman with memory loss and finds himself having to make her fall in love with him again every day.

AGENT CODY BANKS 2 - DESTINATION LONDON (PG): Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the Middle returns to the big screen in his role as a pint-sized spy. One for the kids.

ALONG CAME POLLY (12A): Jennifer Aniston stars as a ditzy woman who turns the life of an uptight risk assessor upside down in this romantic comedy.

BROTHER BEAR (U): Environmentally-friendly Disney animation about a boy who is turned into a bear by the spirits to teach him a lesson about love.

THE BUTTERFLY (15): A young man discovers that he can travel back in time and make changes to set the world to rights, but he soon learns that even the tiniest of changes can have dire consequences.

THE CAT IN THE HAT (PG): Live action version of the Dr Seuss book starring Mike Myers as The Cat. Children will probably enjoy this but it is so far from the original story that Dr Seuss fans may be disappointed.

DAWN OF THE DEAD (18): Zombies are taking over the world and a handful of human survivors find themselves holed up in a shopping mall with the flesh-eating monsters battling to get to them.

GOTHIKA (15): Halle Berry stars in this tense thriller about a psychiatrist who wakes up to find she is a patient in the institution she works in, following the grisly murder of her husband, for which she is accused.

THE HAUNTED MANSION (PG): Another Disney yarn based on one of its popular theme park attractions, this spooky offering stars Eddie Murphy as an estate agent who decides to view a mysterious old house.

HONEY (PG): A dance teacher who gets a big break and becomes a music video choreographer realises she's lost touch with what she really loves. Like Fame but with funky hip hop and r 'n' b dancing.

LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION (PG): Some well-known Looney Tunes characters come together for this family adventure blending live action and animation.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING (12A): Final instalment in the box office smash trilogy of Tolkien adaptations.

LOST IN TRANSLATION (15): Bill Murray stars as a down-on-his-luck American actor who goes to Japan to shoot a commercial and makes an unexpected friend.

MONA LISA SMILE (12A): Julia Roberts stars as a art teacher who shakes up a stuffy private school in 50s America.

MONSTER (18): Charlize Theron won an Oscar for her role as serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Aileen, America's first female serial killer, was a highway prostitute who began murdering her more violent clients.

THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST (18): Mel Gibson's big-screen version of the last 12 hours in the life of Christ. Although this may be an accurate retelling of the Bible, it is not for the faint-hearted.

PIECES OF APRIL (12A): A scatty young woman decides to bring her family together by cooking Thanksgiving dinner in her tiny New York apartment.

SCHOOL OF ROCK (PG): Jack Black stars as an unemployed rocker who takes on his flatmate's identity to become a teacher.

SCOOBY-DOO 2: MONSTERS UNLEASHED (PG): The Scooby gang go up against a villain who is re-creating all their previous foes, such as The Creeper and Captain Cutler.

SHAUN OF THE DEAD (15): Spoof British zombie horror movie spin-off of TV series Spaced. Shaun is given the chance to prove his worth when a zombie holocaust sweeps across London.

THE STATION AGENT (15): A diminutive railway shop worker inherits a railway depot in a sleepy town and finds himself being drawn into the drama of the local community.

STARSKY & HUTCH (15): The 70s TV show is given the big screen treatment in this hit and miss comedy starring Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.

WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE (12A): A mob boss sends a 'retrieval expert' into the Amazonian jungle to find his son, who has gone missing while looking for treasure. A patchy action film.
