WORSHIPPERS have been packing into Sikh gurdwaras in Southampton this week for Vaisakhi celebrations.
Continuous readings of the holy book, the Guru Granth Sahib, have been taking place day and night for the past three days as part of the festival.
Flags were also raised during special ceremonies outside the four temples.
Thousands of people will take to the streets of the city on Sunday afternoon for the colourful Nagar Kirtan procession.
During the morning, civic and community leaders will gather for a ceremony outside the Civic Centre.
This year's Vaisakhi is the 305th and marks the birth of Sikh culture.
