ANDOVER Lions club raised £1000 for Andover Young Carers by hosting the annual Duck Dash over the Easter weekend.
Crowds gathered as the river Anton saw 1,000 yellow plastic ducks poured onto it on Easter Saturday.
Members from the Lions club began selling raffle tickets a month beforehand.
Friends, family and Andover residents could sponsor a duck for £1.
And the top prize they were all competing for was £250, which Lorraine Phillips won.
The ducks floated from the Town Mills Pub, where they were launched from a giant sack, all the way to the bridge in Bridge Street.
Dave Houghton, a Lions Club member, said "The weather was good and we'd like to thank all the people of Andover for their kind support."
Rod Woodland, the Lion's president, chose Andover Young Carers because it's a charity close to his heart.
