THE age-old legend of Robin Hood and his Merry Men has been interpreted amusingly by Hurstbourne Tarrant Primary School pupils in their production Hoodwinked.
The school's annual musical, directed by years three and four teacher Julia Bird, had the audience captivated as Robin (played by Hana Grisenthwaite) faced off against his nemesis the Sheriff of Nottingham (Rachel Hobley).
At stake were the affections of the charming Maid Marian (Megan Eagles).
"It was a very successful production and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, especially all the children taking part," said Sarah Eaton, the adinistrative officer of the village school.
Parents and staff gathered to see the children perform the play for a matinee and evening performance.
