THRUXTON Circuit once again provided some superb entertainment over Easter as it lived up to its reputation as the fastest and most exciting motor racing track in the country for the Green Flag sponsored British Touring Car championships.
A five-figure crowd enjoyed dry weather and a ten-race programme on Sunday while millions more followed the action from their armchairs on ITV.
The highlight of the weekend which began with practice and qualifying on the Saturday, was the three rounds of the Touring Car championships where reigning champ Yvan Muller was in action alongside other recent champions James Thompson and Jason Plato.
Formula Renault were also well represented for their their two races while Formula BMW, Renault Clio and the awesome Porsche Carreras were also in action and gave the huge crowd some spectacular racing.
