ANDOVER woke from Saturday's tedium to entertain what was the highest league crowd of the season on Easter Monday who witnessed a comfortable victory.
The decision to play the game on the afternoon appears to be vindicated as a very healthy 240 gathered for the last local derby of the Wessex League season.
Danny Lewis returned to the line up and he was soon in action as his free-kick found Justin Bennett whose header brought a fine save from David Smalley.
But the expected onslaught began minutes later as from Pete Kingman's corner Glen Damen gathered a flick on to rifle it into the roof of the net via the crossbar for his fourth goal of the season.
