NEW kid-on-the-block Clydesdale Bank toasts its foothold in Southampton later this month with help from TV wine expert Oz Clarke.
He is on hand to guide invited guests - many of them banking clients - through the flavours of some of the best Australian vineyards.
The official opening of the bank's financial services centre in the city will be presided over by regional manager John Anderson and his team.
In a nod to Clydesdale's industrial roots on the shipbuilding banks of the River Clyde, Glasgow, the celebration is being held at a key location on Southampton's waterfront - the Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
The event takes place on Tuesday, April 27 from 6-9pm. Clydesdale, which has the signature slogan Tailored Financial Solutions, is based locally at Mountbatten House, Grosvenor Square.
Business South will be there to cover the official opening with pictures for publication in both the newspaper and in the June edition of Hampshire Business South Magazine.
