WHAT have you lost? Keys? Memory? Time? Hair? Sleep? The plot? Are you a Loser?
Company FZ looks for its lost things in the preview of new theatre show Loser at The Corn Exchange on Thursday and Friday, April 29 and 30, at 7.45pm.
Three good friends have fun together until one goes missing. What do the remaining two do when one disappears? Where has she gone? Where do they look? Is she dead?
Loser (pictured above) is the story of three people and the journey of grief when one of them is lost, the two remaining members of the cast are surrounded by memories.
Where Company FZ's previous award-winning show, Throat, used water to flood the stage and soak the performer, Loser uses ice - thrown down stairs, encasing shoes, and even as part of a dance.
Company FZ is known for its mix of humour with tragedy. There will be touching scenes, funny observations and beautiful set pieces, harnessing light, and songs to laugh and cry with.
Company FZ is Felicity Ferdinando and John Paul Zaccarini. Loser was created by the company with direction by John Paul Zaccarini with John Nicholson (from theatre company Peepolykus). The cast consists of Flick Ferdinando, Hannah Ringham (from award-winning theatre collective Shunt) and Jonathan Priest.
The original score was composed by Peter Coyte, set design by Charles Camm and lighting design by Drew Pautz.
These are the first performances of this brand-new show, commissioned by The Drill Hall London in association with The Corn Exchange Newbury.
