A TALENTED young singer is set to make her TV debut this weekend on the national Stars in Their Eyes Kids show.
Hannah Evans will battle it out with five other contestants for a coveted place in the final of the TV contest.
The 13-year-old beat off competition from thousands of other youngsters to reach the heats of the top-rated show, which is presented by Cat Deeley.
In a broadcast due to go out on Saturday night, audiences will see Hannah, from Hordle, New Forest, transformed into US singer and songwriter Vanessa Carlton.
"I chose her because we both have quite low singing voices," said Hannah, a pupil at Highcliffe School.
Hannah travelled to the Granada TV studios in Manchester last month to record her song.
But is she hopeful about her chances?
"It would be great to get to the final, but I had such a good time doing the show that I don't really mind whether I do or not," she said.
Stars in Their Eyes Kids is on ITV1 at 6.15pm on Saturday.
