AFC Totton reclaimed the local bragging rights over neighbours BAT with a 2-0 win at Testwood Park.
It was the first time the Stags had beaten Andy Leader's Tobaccomen in four league meetings.
Both goals came in the second half with Danny Barker sneaking in behind the defence to bury the first and then Martin Whiddett, pictured, getting up at the far post to head Peter Clark's corner back across the keeper.
Richard Maton, who assisted Gary Birch with the Totton team in the absence of manager Barry Blankley, laughed: "There's only one team in Totton, as Andy Leader used to say!
"BAT always give it their all and they never give up, but we played some good football and deserved our victory. It's nice to have put the hoodoo to bed!"
