YOUNG and old alike are enjoying all the fun of the traditional Easter fair on Southampton Common.
Thousands have been flocking to the annual Coles funfair, which this year sees several new rides including a children's water splash attraction.
Fair owner Peter Coles, the fourth generation of his family to run the historic fair, said spring sunshine on Good Friday brought crowds out in their droves.
The funfair has been based on Southampton Common for more than a century. The only exception was in 2001 when a dispute with the council led to it being moved to Ocean Village.
It will remain on the Common until Saturday.
