A 18-year-old died at the wheel when her car collided with a coach carrying schoolchildren.
The accident, which happened at 1.40pm on Friday in last week, closed the A32 at Wickham, between Budden's Lane and the Roebuck Inn, for five hours.
The dead driver was Vicky Waters (18), of Lower Chase Road, Swanmore.
The two passengers in her white Ford Fiesta were both taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Christina Corp (17), also from Swanmore, sustained head and pelvic injuries and her condition yesterday (Thursday) was described as "critical".
Kimberly Hood (17), from Bishop's Waltham, was sent home after treatment for broken ribs and minor head injuries.
The coach was taking 38 pupils, aged 11 and 12, and two teachers back to Wootey Junior School, Alton, after the last of five days spent at the Stubbington Study Centre.
Chairman of the school governors, Jim McKell, who was driving behind the coach, paid tribute to prompt action of the teachers in calming the children, none of whom were hurt.
The 64-year-old coach driver suffered shock but was uninjured.
