A FAMILY coach company in Hampshire has installed surveillance cameras on five of its vehicles following a successful one-year trial.
Lucketts Travel, based at Fareham, is thought to be one of the first coach firms in the country to use the security-enhancing technology.
A number of bus companies across the UK have already introduced CCTV following attacks on drivers, but the technology is new for coaches.
The firm's fleet is also being fitted with satellite tracking systems so locations can be pinpointed at any time. The aim is to boost safety, provide up-to-the-minute information for customers and help reduce insurance premiums.
