Perry Cocking and Andy Kidney were celebrating winning the first part of a possible treble after their Royal Oak side won the Hampshire Intermediate Sunday Cup Final on Sunday, against an AFC Hayling side boasting several ex semi-pros.
The first half hour was played at a frantic pace in treacherous weather conditions and Dave Tasker in the Oak goal was the busier of the two.
As the Oak settled they began to play, despite the constraints of the elements and in the 28th minute the prolific Matt Styles crashed home a volley from close range.
