WINNING £1,200 in the Daily Echo's Find the Ball competition was no great surprise for reader John Bryant.
The keen-eyed retired seed merchant has become a bit of an expert when it comes to winning.
Just like the buses, winning cash in Find the Ball comes in threes for the grandfather of 11.
Four years ago Mr Bryant, from Middlebridge Street, Romsey, scooped the £50,000 Find the Ball jackpot. He was so excited he got straight on the phone to his wife Wendy, who was in Portugal.
In 1997 he also picked up a £2,600 runner-up prize.
After hearing he had won the runner-up prize in last weekend's competition, the 76-year-old said: "That's very nice.
"I've been playing for years and I've won money twice before, but it's always nice to win."
After winning the £50,000 jackpot in 2000, Mr Bryant and his wife treated themselves to a round-the-world cruise on board Aurora. The couple loved the experience so much, they plan to put their latest winnings towards saving for a repeat trip again on Aurora.
So what is Mr Bryant's secret of winning? "I don't know, it's just guess work," he confessed.
Don't forget to see tomorrow's Daily Echo for your chance to win a £12,000 jackpot.
