TOP Irish boy band Westlife will be giving Hampshire fans a night to remember this summer.
The chart-topping fivesome, who recently scooped ITV's Record of the Year Award for their single Mandy, have announced they will be playing an outdoor concert at the Broadlands estate, Romsey on Sunday, August 1.
They are the second big band to be announced for the popular live venue this summer, Busted having already been scheduled for July 17.
Westlife have produced hit after hit since making their chart debut in 1999 with Swear It Again, the first of a string of number one hits for the band.
They made it into the Guinness Book of Records for being the only act to reach number one with their first seven releases, as well as being the first UK act to amass four number ones in a year.
Among their other chart-toppers are If I Let You Go, Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, and the cover versions Uptown Girl and I Have a Dream.
The band's next single, Obvious, taken from their new album Turnaroud, hits record shop shelves on February 23.
Tickets for the Westlife concert cost £26.50. Gates open at 2pm, with the show running from 5pm to 9.30pm. Box office: 08700 722168.
