The Autumn wind blows ever so slight,
the dewy grass makes a wonderful sight.
Ducks and swans prepare for winter months,
so do squirrels, birds and chipmunks.
The rustling wind makes the river flow,
and peaceful waves move to and fro.
The leaves fall and change colour,
and we say goodbye to glorious summer.
Katie Waugh of Totton wrote this poem after a walk in Romsey Park with her grandparents.
