VILLAGE Plan: The recent workshop was well attended, and a lot of comments were made on aspects of village life.
It has been agreed to recruit a Village Plan Action Group which will try to identify our strengths and weaknesses and come up with ideas for the future.
These can be grand schemes or very simple ideas which make life better for our residents. If you are interested and would like to know more, please call Len Potts on 297832.
There will be a meeting in the Methodist Church Schoolroom on Tuesday, February 10, at 7.30pm, when the process will be explained in detail and the planning process agreed.
You don't need to know anything about planning. People who care about Kingsclere are needed. Why not go along and find out more?
INDOOR market: The next one is on Saturday, in the Village Club, from 9.30am to 11.30am, with all the usual stalls. If you have missed your monthly fix of home-made cakes, get along early.
TAI Chi: Classes will start again at the Village Club on Monday, February 23, weekly for six weeks from 10.45am to 11.45am, and will cost £18.
FLOWER arranging: After reporting that the flower arranging class was under-subscribed, I gather that it is now likely to run.
For more details, call Josie Norton on 298059.
COMPUTER courses: The club still has spare places on evening courses, so if you are unable to make it during the day, why not call Josie and book?
If you are interested in any form of adult education, remember you have your own centre at the Village Club and Josie Norton is always interested in hearing ideas for new courses.
