BROADCASTER Jeremy Vine will advise Basingstoke business leaders on getting along with the media, at a high-profile seminar in March.
BCOT Businesses Services has booked the BBC presenter for the second in its series of seminars.
The first seminar, last autumn, brought Dame Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, to Basingstoke as a speaker on business ethics.
Now Jeremy Vine will pose the question: "Is it possible to have a constructive relationship with the media?". He will talk about relationships with the media, and using them to a business advantage, at the seminar in the Robert Newman Restaurant at BCOT, between 6pm and 8pm on March 2.
Jeremy currently presents the topical Jeremy Vine Show each weekday on Radio 2, having taken over from the long-running Jimmy Young Show just over a year ago.
He also presents the Politics Show on BBC1 and is a former member of the team of BBC2's flagship programme Newsnight.
Beverley Flanagan, marketing and communications director at BCOT, said: "After a highly successful seminar with Anita Roddick, we are delighted to host this event.
"Jeremy promises to give a valuable, yet entertaining, insight into media relations.
After the presentation, business leaders will have the chance to join in a question-and-answer session with Jeremy and a panel of speakers.
Tickets for the event cost £40 and include canaps and wine on arrival, plus coffee, together with a networking opportunity, at the end of the evening.
