Fifteen-year-old Natalie Hill represented Great Britain at the CAMO International Diving Competition in Montreal, Canada.
She came away with fourth place on platform and fifth on the one-metre springboard.
Natalie was particularly pleased with her success on the 1m, where she scored a personal best with 306 points.
"I was really happy with my performance on 1m," she explained. "I scored eights on all my dives in the final."
Diving in a very strong international field, which included competitors from America, Canada, Mexico and Cuba, Natalie put in a high-quality performance to secure two excellent placings. As it was the Canadian trials for the World Cup, the event attracted some of the best divers in the world.
"It was an amazing experience," enthused Natalie, "to be competing against some of the world's best."
Starting her career in sport in the field of gymnastics, Natalie first began diving in 2000 and moved to Southampton Diving Academy to take advantage of the excellent facilities and coaching available at the Quays in June, 2001.
By July, 2002 her performance had improved so much that she took the junior European title on highboard in her first outing with the British team.
Director of coaching Lindsey Fraser was delighted with the most recent success.
"Natalie is a very promising young diver with a great future ahead of her," she said. "This result is just another step on her road to the top, but she seized the opportunity with both hands and really made her mark on the world stage in Montreal."
