SOUTHAMPTON-based Brazier Construction, part of the Kier Group, has been awarded a £2.2m project at St Mark's Church of England Primary School in Basingstoke for client Winchester Diocese.
The project comprises construction of a new single storey pre-school and an extension to the existing school to create eight additional classrooms.
When complete in October 2004 the pre-school will be accepting children between the ages of three and five years old.
The school will have the capacity to accept a further 210 pupils.
