SOUTHAMPTON will see the return of the 44,348-ton cruise ship Royal Princess for another season of European voyages this summer.
Now a regular visitor, the Princess Cruises vessel, which entered service in November 1984, will undertake a series of seven voyages from the port in May to September.
She will be visiting Iceland, Norway, Ireland, Germany, the Orkney Islands, France, the Netherlands and Belgium as part of her schedule.
Known for her large, well-appointed public rooms, including the Horizon Lounge around the funnel, Royal Princess can accommodate 1,200 passengers looked after by a crew of 520.
Princess Cruises, which has its UK headquarters based in Southampton, is also bringing the 109,000-ton Grand Princess from America to Europe for a series of voyages in the Baltic with calls in Russia, Sweden, Poland, Estonia, Finland and Norway.
