AUCTION: On Saturday, February 7, at the village hall, starting at 10am, with viewing from 9am. You can bring goods in on Friday, February 6, from 6.30pm.

There will be a few more lots available, but come early to be sure of getting your items on the list. Sandwiches and drinks will be available.

PANTOMIME: Don't forget Dracula on January 24, 25, 30 and 31 at the village hall. There will be matines on the Saturdays at 2.30pm. For tickets, call 0118 9815600.

SPRATS: Starts again on Wednesday, January 28, from 9.30am in the Mission Church, Bramley Road.

WORKING party: Let's hope for better weather for the workers when they meet on January 31, at 9.30am in the school car park. Everyone is welcome, and I understand tools will be available.

TASTE: On Sunday, at 7pm, in Tadley Community Centre.

Chill out, music, bands, food and drink. This event is aimed at 15-year-olds and upwards and is planned for every Sunday.

WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer: There will be a day conference at Tadley Main Road Methodist Church on Friday, January 30, from 10am to 12.30pm, and from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

There will be slides, information on Panama - whose ladies produced the service for this year - and Bible study groups.

This conference is a first for our area and men and women are invited to come along.
