PAMBER Heath Gardening Club: On Tuesday, the club's AGM will be held in Pamber Heath Village Hall at 8pm.
The club has an interesting programme planned for the coming year, including talks on Cannas, wildlife in Pamber Forest and the club's experiences at the Chelsea Flower Show.
Several garden visits will be arranged for later in the year and the club will be holding two flower shows.
The first of these will be on March 16, and always proves very popular with lots of very good entries.
In September, the annual plant and produce show will take place.
New members are always welcome. Whether you are an experienced gardener or just a beginner, why not come along and enjoy an evening with like-minded friendly people.
Contact the chairman, Richard Brown, for more details on 0118 9700100.
THEATRE evening: The next show will take place on February 14 at Pamber Heath Village Hall and is Big Night Out - On Your Doorstep with Shep Woolley.
He is a very funny entertainer who defies categorisation - is he a comedian who sings or a folk singer who tells jokes?
It's all good, clean fun that never gets saucier than a seaside postcard.
The show is suitable for adults. Tickets cost £9.50, include supper, and are available from me.
