RAIL passengers across Hampshire are facing yet more delays on the trains as engineering work is carried out on parts of the track this weekend.
On Saturday, the hourly service between London Waterloo and Weymouth will call additionally at Clapham Junction, Basingstoke and Eastleigh and the hourly service between London Waterloo and Poole will call additionally at Clapham Junction, Woking, Farnborough, Micheldever and Eastleigh.
The hourly semi-fast service between London Waterloo and Portsmouth via Eastleigh will only operate between Winchester and Portsmouth and the hourly semi-fast service between London Waterloo and Southampton Central will not operate.
The hourly stopping service between London Waterloo and Portsmouth and Southsea will be re-timed and extended to Portsmouth Harbour and the half-hourly fast service between London Waterloo and Portsmouth Harbour will be reduced to hourly.
On Sunday the service between London Waterloo and Weymouth will call additionally at Clapham Junction and the London Waterloo to Bournemouth semi-fast service and London Waterloo to Portsmouth semi-fast service will run as one train between London Waterloo and Woking.
Engineering work is also taking place between Basingstoke and Winchester from 9.45pm next Tuesday and Wednesday. The line between the two stations will be closed from 9.45pm on both nights with a special bus service operating between Basingstoke and Winchester.
Certain trains will be diverted from their normal route between Woking and Southampton Central.
