TAUNTON'S College dominated the English Schools' Divisional Championships at the Isle of Wight's Medina Leisure Centre.
Sixteen of the 17 competitors from the College's Academy of Sport qualified through to the zonal semi-final by winning all but one of the available titles.
Steph Stanley won the under-19 girls' open individual section and, with Amanda Clinnick (4th), Katie Waine (5th) and Steph Bascombe (8th), easily won the team title.
Taunton's domination of the under-19 girls' closed competition was so great that the A team won the title, the B team also qualified in second and, individually, the A girls secured the first four places of 40 trampolinists with Chris Ferrier first, Lisa Richardson second, Tanya Srokosz third and Lucy Warren fourth. Natalie Gale from the B team impressed with fifth place and was backed by good performances from Jemma Johnson, Lisa Gray and Emma Unsworth.
Taunton's under-19 boys' were also top team. Jack Harrison qualified individually for the zonals in bronze medal position. Phil Maunder was fifth, Bryan Barnes tenth and Matt Scarfe eleventh.
Katie Sherry missed out on the college team trials came a creditable ninth individually.
