CHILDREN near Winchester are taking part in a series of activities this week in a bid to ensure that bullying does not start at their school.
Twyford St Mary's C of E Primary School is holding Bullying Awareness Week which encourages pupils to resolve relationship problems without resorting to unkindness.
Highlights include drama workshops, as pictured above, for children in Years 4, 5, 6 - where the youngsters put on a play exploring how to deal with their feelings. Sylvia Hunns, head teacher, said: "All our teachers say there is no bullying at our school but we have to be alert to the fact that it could occur at any time. We aim to teach children to manage their relationships and how to sort out problems in a nice way."
