Special congratulations to our own Rev Anthony, who has been appointed an Honorary Canon of Winchester Cathedral in recognition of his years of distinguished service to the diocese.

FURTHER congratulations... are due to Sheila Trotman, who starts off the new year as president of the Rotherwick WI.

The WI meets every second Thursday at 7.15pm in the committee room of the village hall.

THANK you, thank you thank you.... are the words from the Whitewater Pre-school Praise and Play group, who would like to thank everyone who supported their Water Appreciation project up to Christmas.

The toddlers put a penny in a bottle each time they used some water and the adults put a penny in each time they used a litre of water during the course of a day or two.

Generous support from the Rotherwick Brownies, Whitewater schoolchildren and the PCC contributed to the grand total of £1,511.66! The money has been divided between Christian Aid and Water Aid.
