A SELECT number of Fareham householders will be receiving free compost bins as part of a new pilot scheme.
Fareham Borough Council has been given a number of bins as part of a national scheme to boost recycling.
Councillor Leslie Keeble said: "Currently, we recycle 22 per cent of our waste by removing green and kitchen vegetable waste from the refuse bins we will be able to recycle even more."
